Regular maintenance ensures your Cadillac delivers top performance, and it also extends its lifespan. As your Cadillac dealership, we want to tell you about some of the wide variety of services we provide to keep your Cadillac in great shape.

3 Examples of Services Available at Your Cadillac Dealership

Tire Checks

Healthy tires have a sure grip on the surface so you can drive, maneuver, and brake with confidence. As time passes, the tire tread will wear thin due to friction with the surface. Tires can also suffer a variety of other damage due to poor balance, alignment issues, lack of rotations, worn shocks, or incorrect inflation.

Worn or damaged tires make driving dangerous due to poor traction, leaks, and other issues. Our technicians can fix most tire issues very quickly. We can rebalance tires and realign your wheels to reduce unnecessary wear damage and rotate your tires so they wear down at a relatively similar rate. We can also check tire pressure and advise you on your tire condition. If you need replacement tires, we can install and balance them for you while you wait.

Oil and Filter Replacement

Oil circulates continuously through your engine, lubricating countless components and protecting them from friction damage. As the oil moves, it helps to reduce the engine temperature. In addition, oil contains numerous additives that break down engine deposits, prevent rust, and keep the engine clean. After each circuit through the engine, the oil passes through the oil filter, which traps dirt and other debris.

As oil ages, it slows down and thickens. This reduces its effectiveness, and your engine may make strange noises as the lack of lubrication causes components to grind against one another. The oil filter can also become blocked, preventing oil from moving through the engine and causing serious damage. We drain the old oil, then install a new filter. The sump where the oil is stored is resealed, and we refill the oil.

Spark Plug Replacement

Spark plugs screw into the top of the engine cylinders. Fuel and air mix in a precise ratio in the intake manifold and are then drawn into the cylinders. The piston inside each cylinder rises at high speed, compressing the fuel-air mixture in the process. Once sufficiently compressed, the spark plugs ignite it, producing the combustive power that moves your vehicle.

The plugs will wear out due to age and can also be damaged by issues like electrical faults, worn ignition coils, or a fuel-rich engine. Worn plugs waste fuel, as most of it won’t burn successfully. You’ll also experience issues like misfiring or stalling. Once we replace the plugs, engine performance will return to normal.
